Denver Office Directors Discuss Design Trends in Region

Sasaki is proud to announce Joshua Brooks ASLA, PLA has been promoted to associate principal. Brooks is co-director of Sasaki’s Denver office and has helped secure significant projects for the firm including the Foothills Mall Redevelopment in Fort Collins, Colorado; The Ochsner Medical District Master Plan in New Orleans, Louisiana; Denargo Market in Denver, Colorado; and Greenwood Community Park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.Â
Brooks’s work revolves around the intersection of people and infrastructure. His expertise includes district scale master planning, urban redevelopment, infrastructural systems, and parks and public spaces. As an educator, he has worked to bring human-centric urbanism to the mainstream. “Josh has gained the confidence of Sasaki’s clients through his competence and tenacity, and has built a trusting relationship with clients throughout his network. He is attentive to client needs, an enthusiastic and passionate hands-on practitioner, and skilled at motivating teams,” says Michael Grove, Principal and Chair of Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Ecology. “As we continue to grow our presence in Denver, Josh will work alongside Anna as co-directors to advance our footprint in the civic/public and commercial sectors with a focus on getting our ideas built.” We congratulate Brooks on his remarkable achievements to date, and look forward to his future success.
